is an addiction. Your body becomes addicted to the nicotine, and it's a hard habit to break. As is true
with all quit smoking methods you have to want it. You have to want it badly enough to endure those

Throw your old friends away
You know, your cigarette lighter, ashtrays, and of course your cigarettes.
Get rid of anything and everything that reminds you of smoking. It will make it much easier to quit, when you
don't have to stare at those things. Believe me you will stare at them if they're still around. I don't
mean hide your cigarettes and lighter in a drawer either. Throw them away!
Stay busy

you decide to use. Find something else to do with your time. You need to stay busy. After eating,
get up and do something. Play a sport, get into your hobbies, do what ever you like to do other than
smoking. It will take your mind off of it.
Keep positive thoughts
This is crucial! A lot of people will tell you in order to quit smoking you
have to think of all the negatives, like how bad cigarettes are for you, how nasty they are, how nasty you smell,
and on and on. I disagree with the negative thought approach.
I've always been a believer that negative begets negative. You need to think positive thoughts. How
great you will feel, how long you will live, how great your house will smell, how great your car will
smell, the list goes on and on. The point is positive
begets positive!
